One of the T-shaped stones found in Göbeklitepe, at the bottom right is a human relief with its head cut on its body, and a bird thought to be a vulture on the left. There are scorpions and birds on them. The big bird has a round head shape in its hand, interpreted as the head detached from its body.
Three adult skull fragments were found at Göbeklitepe. First, the skin was skinned free of flesh, then the bones were hollowed out with flint. Before pottery was made, it was a ritual where skull cult was seen in Neolithic settlements / Polished Stone Age. These reliefs may be related to the skull ritual.

Otherwise, we could not have access to such valuable information and works. Funeral rituals are still very important in many cultures, aren't they?
